This DC-3 of South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand, registered ZK-CAW, became popular under its nickname of "Viewmaster". In the early 1960s, it was equipped with extra large windows to allow its passengers an unobstructed view over the great landscapes. Today, the original has found a home in Taupo on New Zealand's north island, where it is used as a restaurant of the fast food chain McDonalds.
