For more than forty years, the large US carrier's livery was unchanged, but it has been changed twice in the last three years. Now, the mega carrier is busily trying to standardize its fleet colors reflecting its new identity. Herpa Wings has joined the airline in that effort, and the result model which carries the new livery that Delta introduced in March 2000. The first Boeing 737-800 was only added to the fleet of more than five hundred aircraft in 1998. The originals of the new model - the Boeing 737-832 with the registration N394DA - have only been in service since April 1989 respectively.
