  • Description

In 1965, LTU, today a part of the Air Berlin Gruppe, began operating jets for the upcoming holiday market in Germany for the first time. Initially, it took over Finnair’s already back then somewhat out-dated Sud-Est Aviation Caravelle III, which was quickly replaced by the brand new Caravelle-10R, the so-called Super Caravelle. The original of this Herpa Wings mold novelty, registered in 1968 as D-ABAP, was one of them.
