This year (2011), US Naval Aviation celebrates its 100th anniversary. To commemorate this event, several aircraft were painted in historical color schemes. One such aircraft is this P-3, decorated in the 1950s scheme as flown by the patrol squadron VP-6 "Blue Sharks" during the Korean War.

Due to the merger with Northwest Airlines, this 747-451 with the registration N661US is flying in Delta Air Lines colors but also carries the restrained inscription "operated by Northwest" in front of the rear door. The airplane was delivered to Northwest in December 1989.
