Manufactured in 1976 for Braniff of Texas, this Boeing 727-227B “Advanced” is today the only example and oldest aircraft in the fleet of the Ecuadorian airline. The original of this model limited to 1,500 items with the registration HC-CDJ and the name “Piquero”, has been operated by Aerolineas Galapagos since 2002.
