When Hapag-Lloyd Flug was sold to Preussag, the parent company of Europe's largest package tour operator TUI, the livery of its aircraft was changed as well. In September 2001, the new corporate design with the TUI logo was presented in Hanover, and in November, the first Hapag-Lloyd planes took off toward popular holidaymaker destinations with the new livery.
