In 2002, the Northwest Airlines "Worldplane" was released as a 1/200 scale Herpa Wings model (item #550208). To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its flights to Asia in 1997, the airline copied works of art created by nineteen school children from Asia and the USA onto its Boeing 747-400 with the registration N670US. These works of art have now been carefully rendered in the 1/500 scale.
