The administration of Aeroflot's directorate of Sakhalin, all of a sudden "orphaned" in 1990, has founded a successor called Sakhalinskie Aviatrassy, headquartered in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The IL-62 with the Aeroflot registration RA-86566 is used for the route to Seoul in South Korea.
