Registered as CCCP-77104 in 1974, this TU-144S received the more appropriate registration CCCP-77144 for the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget a year later. This second pre-production machine was used extensively for aerodynamic and structural flight tests until it was scrapped in 1987.
