Three of the seven Airbus A310-100s used by Luftwaffe Flugbereitschaft BMVg of the German forces look almost like civil planes. Actually, they are the very planes that had been purchased in the late 1980s by the East German airline Interflug to fly state and party head Erich Honnecker to state visits around the globe. 10X22 "Theodor Heuss", named after the first president of the Federal Republic of Germany, was formerly known as DDR-ABA. Today, its passengers are top politicians of a united Germany.
